Using both first and middle names.....
| Mon, 01-10-2005 - 2:35am |
I have heard many people calling their little ones by both their first and middle names lately. (Mine only hear that when they are in trouble!!) Some examples that I have heard are: Annie Kate, Anna Kate, Emma Claire, Emma Kate. What are some of them that you have heard or have named your children? I think it is cute but wanted some other examples. Have a great day!

Have heard...
Sara Beth
Mary Claire
Mary Kate
Anna Grace
Hello! I also only call my daughter by first and middle (& last name) when she's in big trouble. But I do hear many parents calling their children by both, lately.
Ex. Marc Anthony, Ashley Lynne, Robert Joel.
I guess it sounds nice, but since I have to call my daughters name sooooo many times a day. I couldn't see myself screaming Desiree Alexis that often. LOL
I know several: Anna Kate, Emma Grace, Sara Margaret, Mary Allison, Anne Taylor (dont' love this one because of the obvious Ann Taylor associations), Allie Meg, Robert Fonde.
I would like to name my son John Whittington and call him John Whitt, and name my little girl Victoria Rose (and call her by both).

one of the babies that were in my class when i was still teaching had the same name as his daddy...there names were MARK. So everyone, from the day he was born called him MARK JASON which is his first and middle name. But when we were just calling his name we would call him Mark or Marky or Marky J. But his full first name to us was MARK JASON
