Variations of Kate???/

I guess what I am looking for are all long names that can use Kate as a shortened name...
The only ones I can think of are Katherine and Katarina....I don't care for them but mu hubby loves Kate. I feel like I should name her the whole name and call her Kate rather than just name her Kate and call her Katie when she's little...see what I mean?

P.S. Hubby likes the K spelling of Kate rather than C, if that helps...

Thanks in advance

Kathleen, Caitlin/Kaitlyn(I think it is fine to use Caitlin nn Kate I prefer the Caitlin spelling with either pronunciation), Katia, Katarin

I think the others have it pretty well covered, but you might also try this link: http://www.behindthename.com/php/translate.php?terms=Kate&menuterm=&menuterm2=&gender=both

All forms of Kate/Katherine or otherwise related names (perhaps even some less obvious translations that would offer the nn Kate).

you have been given a lot of great suggestions :) I wanted to add that you could use Kate as her mn. One of my close friends is Sarah Kate, nn Katie/Kate. Her parents didn't like any of the long forms of Kate either. I think Sarah is the name of one of her grandmothers. Just a thought.

Good luck,
Brooke

Thanks everyone for your help!!! I would use it as her middle name but the middle name has been decided as Berlin, and it has to stay in the middle as my son is Ryan Austin.

Otherwise it would be problem solved!!!

I really appreciate all your help and thanks for the link too guys, now we just have to pick one....
