Of those two, definitely Keagan.

Kennedy has too many political associations.

Keagan ( to me ) sounds more like a ln. I can see it used more for boys,

I love both names! If I had to pick I would say Keagan is my favorite.

Sorry ... Keagan is incredibly masculine. I'd save it for an actual boy. Kennedy isn't my favorite, assuming you like the association with the President of the same name (obviously), but it's not as blatantly-male, KWIM?

ETA: The suggestion of Teagan by a pp (was it Donna?) is a great one. A very similar sound but Teagan is unisex. You might also like Tegan, Tierney, Kendra, Kiera/Ciara or Kiaran/Ciaran

I like Keagan (pronounced Kee-gan?).

Kennedy has always seemed like people are trying too hard to sound upper-class or presidential... It is just so linked with JFK, "Camelot" etc

I think a short and feminine middle name would be best with Keagan -

Mae
Jane
Rose
Hope
Belle

At first glance, I like them both. However, my daughter is named "Carson" and she complains that she can't find personalized keychains, etc. Also, when she learned recently (she's eleven) that her name is traditionally a last name, she was disappointed, as if she didn't have a "real" name. Further, I think these kinds of names work well on a pretty girl (my Carson is pretty :))but are not flattering on a more average-looking child. Keegan might be cute on someone sporty or very beautiful, but not on a girl who is a little more "average." Also, Kennedy can be perceived as trying to hard to sound upscale. Take a look in the mirror and if the name would work for you in your situation, it might work for your daughter.
