With sibs name Hanna and Grant, with Hanna being so feminine and Grant so masculine, Finley sounds even more masculine than it might if you had another DD with a surname, kwim?
I actually quite like it, but having just read your other post, be warned that Hanna, Grant and Finley would most certainly be assumed two boys and a girl, KWIM?
You might consider using Finley as part of a double name -- Claire Finley, Rose Finley, Finley Pearl, Finley Gwen or Finley Jane, for example -- or even as a mn (again, possibly with a double name in mind) ... Eleanor or simply Nora(h) Finley, nn Nora(h) Finn, for instance
To be quite honest, I don't know where Finley came from. I don't know anyone named it boy or girl. I just thought of it the other day and loved it. I know that it doesn't go with Hanna and Grant, but to me right now nothing goes with their two names because I'm so use to it being the two of them. I'm so strange....
Can anyone help me with Finley combo's?
I'll post my other faves on my Hanna and Grant post.
We just had our first child, a baby boy, on April 25. We named him Finley Andrew. It's a name I have loved for sometime. We struggled with the traditional gaelic spelling of Findlay or making it more anglocized with Finley. We finally decided on Finley and I get lots of compliments on it. To me, it's very male. It's traditionally male (very popular in Wales, Ireland, Scotland, etc. but not yet in America) but I will say that on my birth board two women named their baby girls this but spelled it Finnley and Finlay. It's a great name. Am I biased? LOL

Fiona would be a great fit though.
