I thought I would just get opinions on the name Julia. Her big sisters name is Jaida Kay. Do they go well together? Middle name for Julia might be Casey (this is a namesake). Thanks!

I also have a Jaida, she's Jayda Elyse & now 11. I love the name Julia, it's one of my favorite girls name, in fact if I ever had another girl I'd want to name her that. I think Jaida & Julia sound great together.

I LOVE the name Julia! Its absolutely beautiful. Julia Casey would be very nice and Jaida and Julia would sound very nice. One thing to think about: If you are going to have any more kids would you also give him/her a "J" name. If not, would he or she feel left out if the two older ones had "J" names? If so, maybe go with a different letter. I don't think it would matter though. I love the name!

I love Julia - I can't use it because our last name is Andrews so I feel it's too similar to Julie Andrews and DH wants to use a middle name that ends w/a.

Great name!

Jaida is very modern, kind of trendy, not too overly popular

Julia is classic, traditional, and to me, downright old-fashioned, but maybe that's just me

I'd go with just Julie to lighten it up a little. Julia sounds soooooooo formal compared to Jaida.

other Js that I think would go well with Jaida

Jocelyn, Jillian, Jenna, Janna, Javonne, Jiselle

good luck

Thanks for all your imput! DH and I are both J's, so it is intentional to name our dd's with j's too. I fell in love with Jaida right away, but I am having a much harder time with this one! I do agree with the pp that Jaida is modern and Julia is classic. On the other hand, they are both pretty and femanine.

I think Julia is beautiful, but if you're still looking, here are a few other J names you might like:

Juliana
Jasmine
Janae
Jenna
Joelle/Joella
Jolie
Jessamine

Good luck making a final decision!
