I love Julianna Eva. Have you considered spelling Juliana with just one "n"? Then, the spelling would be more in agreement with the Spanish pronunciation.
Justin Miguel flows very well. Actually, though, I like Miguel a lot better than Justin. Just my opinion!
kinda of confusing pronuciation for the girls name. would it work to spell it how it sounds? like Juliahnna or Julionna and Ava? Might be easier in the long run instead of everyone mispronouncing her name. i like the boys name though! hth leah
well considering the family is all mexican, i think they can prounounce it just fine. as for the rest of the world, ahh, they will figure it out i guess. And Eva is named after my husbands Godmother, so im keeping the spelling and pronunciation true to her name. but thank you for your opinion
i hadnt considered that but thank you that makes sense. Im not a big fan of justin myself, my husband picked it, but then again hes not a big fan of miguel! LOL i guess its a comprimise
My neighbor's DIL is from Guatemalia (am I spelling that right?). Her daughter (my neighbor's step-grandaughter) is named Julisa. It's pronounced You-Leesa. The family calls her that But she got so tired of correcting everyone that the rest of the world calls her Joo-leesa. Just be prepared for that. It's the same thing with my cousin Robert. He's French and pronounces it Row-bare. But at work he's Rah-bert. He's gotten used to it.
I think that both of the names that you picked are nice - all possible pronounciations. Are you pronouncing Justin as Yustin?
thanks for your input. Actually i was considering a possible nickname for Julianna as Huli cause im quite sure some people might prounouce it as Hulianna. Which is no big deal. my name starts with a J too, so its not really a problem. to answer your question, Justin would be prounounced the normal way.
I like Huli as a NN. We call my neighbor's step-grandaugher "You-leesa" because we had heard her name many times before we saw it in writing (a birthday invitation).
I ablsolutely LOVE the name Julianna especially the way you plan to pronounce it. But i would suggest changing the spelling. I know someone who spells it like that and they pronounce it Julie-ann-ah. I would spell it Juliana Ava, because Eva would also be confusing. I love your boy's name! Good luck! ~ellie
