WDYT of...and an advice question.

I have a nine month old son named Nathaniel (James) and we're expecting another in Sept.

I think we've picked out the name Marley Elizabeth for a girl. Do you guys like that one? Does it have a ring to it? I've thought about it so long I'm no longer objective, LOL.

If it's another boy, I have no idea. What would go with my little Nate's name? Nathaniel is so traditional, and I can't decide whether we should stay traditional or go a little more modern.

Thanks for any advice!

As for your girl name I don't like Marley at all I don't think it has a girly ring to it at all. How about Marlana or Melissa? As for the boy names I wouldnt go too modern cuz the question of 'How come his name is is so much more unique than mine?' might come up later in life. how about these Jason, Leon, Loren, Timothy, Andrew, Kieth, or David.

I have run across a couple of girls with the name of Marley recently, and the name is really starting to grow on me. I think Marley Elizabeth is very pretty.

I think Marley Elizabeth is nice. It's not as traditional as Nathanial, but goes well with Nate.

For a boy, you could choose another traditional name with a more cutting edge nickname:

Alexander - nn Alec
Jameson
