Hello!

Please give me your honest opinion about our new girl name that we finally agreed on.

Her name would be Mabry...different, but not crazy or trendy???

Our kids names are Hanna and Grant..does this go with it?

Thanks to All!!

Mabey Mabry? To be honest, I'm not too keen on Mabry. I think it will be one of those names that will always be mispronounced our need to be spelled. On the other hand, it is unique, which is a plus. If you really like the name, go for it though! I'm not too sure it really goes with Hanna and Grant, which seem to be more classic names.

I think Mabry is cute!

I've always liked Marly for a girl so maybe that's why I like it. I think the first time I heard Marly was on a soap opera or somthing like that. I think it might have been spelled Marley, I can't remember now, it's been years and years. But Marly also has special meaning for me now. It's part of a street name that we used to live on. It was the first place that every really felt like home after about 5 years of marriage (because DH was always gone due to the military). So I'm keeping Marly in the back of my mind for a MN. I don't know if I can get DH to go for it though. :)

There's a little girl named Mabry in our extended family. At first I thought it was a crazy weird name but I really like it now that I'm used to it. It's different, easy to spell and pronounce, and cute. If you really like it, I think it is a great choice!

I guess I'll be taking Marly off my list.
I jut found out a coworker named his new baby boy Josef Marley.
I guess he's been wanting to use Marley for years too since he's a huge Bob Marley fan.
Just thought it was a funny coincidence. :)

Well, I still like your Mabry!

After teaching elementary - it is so easy to hear the nn. Of course, every name has a potential nn. But I just hear Mabry, Mabry not. At the same time it takes the older name Mae, and combining it with a trendy ending bry. I think it is catchy.
