I'm not really sure how this name comes across. Is it pretty, or is it like Penelope? Which i hate! Does it sound very soft and feminine or does it sound like a woman who could stand up for herself (kids live up to expectations!)
What are your impressions?

I'm sorry - I think it is a terrible name. It sounds like it is some kind of instrument :-) I just cannot imagine growing up with that name. If you really like it, I would suggest using it as a middle name. Sorry, don't mean to sound harsh.

I don't care for that name at all.

I always loved the name Persephone, as the Greek Goddess. Unfortuantly, I don't think it would translate well into a regular name.

Well, I'm not crazy about the name. It does seem to fit into the same name "category" (whatever) as Penelope. I don't know if I could take someone seriously w/ that name. I can't really put it into words except that I don't like the name.

I like it. Dh and I actually considered it. but we crossed it off the list because we couldnt come up with a nick name that worked. and Persephone is a LONG name to not have a nickname.
