I am not pregnant yet, nor am I trying to be :) But I recently got married and my mom keeps bugging me about when she's gonna get some grandkids :)
I was just thinking about these yesterday...what do you think? (Our last name is Gorman)

Audrey Janette
Samantha Rae
Karis Leanne (My sister's name is Kerri so of course she loves that name :-p )

I can never think of boys names. I have always like the name Andrew, but that's the only name I can think of that goes with Gorman. And it's way too overused for my taste too! Grrr!

I love Audrey! Samantha is my sister's name, not my favorite person lol so obviously I can't be neutral on that name. Karis is pretty but I much prefer it Carys.

Aw! Those are cute names too! Funny with your boys names because like half of them are family names, they are great!

Having a problem though...A lot of the names I like end in the "N" sound, same as our last name. Like my grandfather's name was Preston, I like that, but is it too much with the last name? Preston Gorman? Or Andrew Preston Gorman? Too much?

What about names like
Madison
Madilyn
Katelyn
Cameron

Is that overload or what? Would it sound Ok like that as a first name or better as a MN?

HI Tam -

Glad you like the list..

From your new picks - I think I would stay away from the "on" ending names.

I agree boy names are tough:( I'm glad I had a girl! I like the names you choose thus far for a girl, which is odd b/c usually I loathe most of what people think of naming their kids these days. I love Audrey the best!!
