I have always liked the name Vaughn. My husband didn't like it with our last, but we had a girl, so it was okay. We are expecting again (don't know the sex) and I said it to him again and he LIKED it! I was totally shocked, but anyway, what are some outside opinions on it? There's a poll for a middle name below! TIA

Its okay IMO. Not one of my favourites, but it would be nice to hear something different. I definetly like the mn William better.

I'd never use it but it's a nice name.

One of my husband's co-workers named his son Vaughn about 2 years ago. I have to admit most everyone's reaction was What?? Like in Stevie Ray?? But I have seen it in several name books now, and it no longer seems that unusual.
Good Luck to you.

Vaughan is one of my favourite boys names. I knew a few Vaughan's when I was growing up, so to me it's not at all like a surname. I like it because its different, but not out there. It means 'Little' BTW! I say go for it!
