We are having a girl!

We found out about a week ago that we have having a girl! And we have settled on a name. When we went in for the level II u/s we had about 10 girls names we were still considering, but there was one that dh has been especially in love with. I have loved the name since I was a little girl, but just hadn't felt ready to settle. I think I was having a hard time because I want a girl so badly (we even used the shettles method to try to get her), that I think I felt that if we named her before the u/s we would jinx it. But ever since our u/s which definitely, without a doubt confirms it (I saw it for myself before the tech even pointed it out), this particular name is all I've been able to think of her as. So, I think someone's trying to tell us something in that. So, her name will be Elizabeth Sharon Bruce nn Libby (when we use a nn).

Elizabeth is the middle name of both of my maternal great-grandmothers, and middle name to one of dh's great grandmothers. Sharon is my mom's name. Libby is the nn to a little girl (named Elizabeth) who passed away when she was about 21 months old after struggling with a noncongenital heart defect all her life. She greatly touched my heart, and I'll never forget her infectious attitude toward life even when she spent so many of her days filled with pain. Although I don't wish her fate on my own child, I hope that my dd has the same happy attitude toward life as she did.

Elizabeth is measuring right on time and looking great. She is about four days behind, but that's not enough for them to change my due date. I'm excited to meet her in July!
