Adler and Rowan are my favorites too. Could you compromise by using one name from each of your lists. I love Rowan Adler, and Adler Rowan is very handsome as well.

I really like Adler or Dempsey, especially with Magnus. (I also like Alden - similar to Adler)

I love Adler! I might have to mention that to my DH! Rowan is nice too. Dempsey is kinda cool, but I don't think many people will say so, sorry. I prefer Titan to Titus, but don't particularly care for either.

My favorites are Rowan and Adler. I agree with a pp that one can be a fn and the other mn. I like the combo. of Adler Rowan best. I think of Patrick Dempsey when you suggested that name, (BIG Grey's Anatomy fan). The other names are just nms. Sorry.

Mmm...well, let's see. With Magnus, I'd automatically scrap Titus for rhyming, Titan for being an American Gladiator, and Dempsey for being a little too rough-hewn. Left with Adler and Rowan, I'd probably go with Rowan--it has the same polished feel that Magnus does.

I like Rowan, but I've only heard it as a girl's name. How about Adler Dempsey?

Odin is so cool! Are you of Norse heritage?

Rowan is really a classically unisex name. Most famously (nowadays, anyway...there's also a mathematician and an Archbishop of Canterbury) there's Rowan Atkinson, who plays Mr. Bean and Blackadder. (And then there's my friend's son Rowan...cute little bug!)
