We have finally picked out names!

My DH and I have finally decided on a boy and girl name for our new baby due in October! We go on May 17th for our ultrasound and I wanted to have something picked out before then so we could start calling the little bean by his/her name. We decided on Noah Thomas for a boy and Scarlett Elizabeth for a girl. Please let me know what you think about both of these. Positive and negative feedback is appreciated! Thank you so much!

Gorgeous, especially Scarlett. That is my all-time favourite name!

Scarlett is stunning! Definitely a beautiful, interesting choice. Love it! ;)
Noah is nice as well, but since I've hear it so often over the last few years -- pretty much the default choice of any parent that attends a church (and many who don't) -- it's just sort of lost it's sparkle. Still, as long as a common name isn't a concern, it does mean many will like it, inevitably replying with, "Oh, that's a great name! It's my son's/nephew's/grandson's/neighbor's (etc.) name too!" ... or something to that extent. Many people love that. ;)

I love these choices!!
Have you considered Scarlett Elisabeth (Elisabeth with an S instead of a Z)? It looks really pretty written out with Scarlett as a first name.
Good luck on your ultrasound!! Little bean is definitely going to have a wonderful name. :)

Congratulations! It's a good feeling to find the right name, isn't it? I loved being able to call my son by his name before he was born. :)
Scarlett Elizabeth is a beautiful choice, and the two names are a particularly good combo, imo. Very nice.
I have a Noah Harrison, so I heartily approve of Noah Thomas. ;) It's another beautiful choice. If you want an insider's take on Noah's popularity, my experience so far has been "no big deal." I know other Noah's are out there; I've been told often enough that someone's friend/SIL/neighbor/or cousin also has a son named Noah, but I have yet to meet a Noah my son's age (15 months) in person. We go to parks and pools--no other Noahs. Gymboree and library lap-sit? No Noahs. I'm not religious, but I want him to experience some of the church things I missed out on when I was a kid, so we tried out 3 different local churches when we moved. No Noah's his age, although I did see a few older Noahs, and now one younger. So, yes, it's popular, but not so popular I see one every time I turn around (except my own, of course!). It's popularity does mean, however, that there may be a small army of other Noahs waiting for my son at kindergarten registration, and he may be Noah H. for a long time. I love his name, and the pleasure I take in just saying it more than makes up for the pitfalls of its popularity. If you can acknowledge its popularity and say the same, then it's a fabulous choice.
Congrats!
I really like Noah Thomas & Scarlett Elizabeth.
Noah is a bit popular, but it is a classic. It's strong & masculine, but not overly rough. I like it a lot.
Scarlett is very dramatic, but beautiful & classy.
Good luck!
