I really like Elle Renee! Maybe you could give her a form of your name (not sure if Connie is a nn for Constance but there are a few forms of Constance). Here are some other suggestions:

Elle Hannah
Elle Ashlyn
Elle Angelina
Elle Karen
Elle Ada (prefer to Aida)
Elle Nicole
Elle Catherine
Elle Georgina
Elle Julia
Elle Cecily
Elle Teresa
Elle Amelia
Elle Natalie
Elle Rhiannon
Elle Nora
Elle Chelsea
Elle Phoebe
Elle Delilah

Hope this helps - Good Luck!

Elle Corinne was my first thought! If that would be too similar to DS/ DH's names, though, I'd like:

Elle Victoria
Elle Phoebe
Elle Rebekah
Elle Beatrice
Elle Michaela

Since Elle is French, why not pair it with a pretty French girl's name like:

I'd nix Aida and Leah just based on flow, they're very awkward to say. I like something longer w/ Elle. Since I don't know your style, I'll just give some of my favourites :)

Elle Josephine
Elle Matilda
Elle Gwendolen
Elle Kathleen
Elle Beatrice
Elle Fiona
Elle Serena

Elle is a classy, fun name!

With your son being named for your husband, it would be important to me to find another family name for this baby (of course, Elle may be after someone). In my opinion, a name of your choosing combined with a family name is a great way to ground the overall combo and give it history. Kids like to be named after someone and/or have a story behind their names.

If there are no family names you are interested in using, you might also consider a character or place that has been significant to you. Or, there are many great names out there with good meanings. Also, since your son is named for your husband, you might, at the very least, look for a pretty C- name this time, since you are Connie- a very subtle, but nice bond between mother and daughter.

Elle, as a one-syllable name, will generally sound best with 3+ syllables.

Coming to mind for me are the following names with nice meanings:

Elle Miranda - beautiful, admired

Elle Beatrice- bringer of joy, happy & blessed

Elle Samantha- good listener

C- names-

Elle Carina- dear little one (beautiful flow!)

Elle Catherine- pure

Elle Carissa- beloved

Elle Callista- most beautiful

Of the names your husband likes, I like Elle Renee best.

Keep us posted!
