We need some help with names!!

So DH and I are struggling with names for both boy and girl, and since we are not finding out until d-day we really need to have this settled.

a few other girl ideas: Devon, Kendall, Blake, Kyle (I know a woman by this name & really like it. If your DD ends up being really girly, she could always decide to go by Kylie, too). Elizabeth & Olivia go well as mn for any of those. Ellen seems too short for the short fn, but it may sound better with your last name added.
I like Brett a lot, but it's one of my favorite boy names, so I have trouble thinking of it for a girl.
Drew is great & Drew Barrymore definitely makes it an acceptable unisex name.
I know a few girl Ryan's, but it's quite a common name on both sides, so it's my least fav or your group.
For boys, I really like Neal Conrad.
Jack is good, popular, but I still love it.
Corbin to me is not really strong and masculine. Maybe because the only Corbin I've ever known was kind of wussy (sp?).
I also like Luke (although Lucas seems less strong), Mason, and Vance.
I love Conrad as a middle name for any of them.
Also, what about using your father's last name as your son's middle name? That may work to honor your dad even if you don't use Neal at all.

Hi there. Congrats on your new little one!
To be honest, I don't usually like unisex names for girls. Although, Rory is one that I don't mind at all. I don't care for Ryan, Drew, or Brett though. Those are just way too popular as boy names.
I'm usually more into feminine names w/unisex nns. Therefore, there might be a few nick-namey names on this list. Take them as you will!
Here are a few suggestions:
Andie
Auden/Audie
Blair
Bryn
Chase
Frankie
Izzy
Joey
Kit-I absolutly love this one.
Lane
Quinn-Ah, I actually don't personally care for this one, but it does go well w/Rory.
Sam
You're right that boy names are tricky to match to a unisex named sister. I do like Jack & Corbin, but would vote for Corbin out of the two. On top of being far less common, it just fits a lot better w/Rory. Also, using Neal as a mn for basically anything would probably work.
Here are a few boy suggestions for you:
Alec
Beckett
Burke
Brennan
Cole
Conor
Callum
Emmett
Gareth
Graham
Liam
Lachlan
Max
Miles
Milo
Nolan
Owen
Patrick
Simon
Tucker
Weston
Hope this helps!
Just a quick thought regarding Neal, for your dad ...
First of all, Neal is perfectly matching with Rory, FWIW. It's true that Rory has become slightly more popular lately, but as far as origin and usage, Rory and Neal seem a good pairing (and Neal seems to fit the strong, masculine type name you want for a boy).
If you don't want to use the same exact name, however, you might also like Nelson (son of Neil/Neal), Niall (can be said NIE-al, with two syllables), Nigel or Niles. All are forms of or directly related to Neal. I've also seen Neala (various spellings), if you're interested in using it for a girl.
Just some thoughts. ;)

For a boy, what about Holden Neal?
Good luck!
From your choices, I love Corbin Otto and Jack Dillinger for boys and Drew Elizabeth and Brett Kathryn for girls.
I like unisex names for girls to. Have you thought about Logan for a girl? Its one of my favorites. Also Shelby is the name my fiance and I have choosen for our first DD. I think its unisex with being a "boy" name. I know a woman who named her DD Corbin. I see that is one of your boy choices. Have you thought about it for a girl?? I'm not sure I'm helping much with the 1 syllable thing but I can't think of many 1syll unisex names.
I HTH a little. Good luck and congratulations!
