Audrey Marion - very nice

Sophia Anne - I'd use a more interesting mn with super-common Sophia (coming from a Kelli Ann here LOL)

Rachel Neila - I've always liked Rachel, and love seeing Neila used! I might not pair the two myself, but I do quite like both names.

Mary Lawrence - assuming Lawrence has special meaning, I actually like this

Alanna Therese - love it. I know Alanna(h)/Alaina/Elena etc. all seem fairly common, but still nice names.

Joseph Thomas - perfectly safe and traditional, though neither is exactly my favorite

Leanela Giovanna - not sure what to make of Leanela. I like Leanora and Nell/Nella (as a nn), but this would have to grow on me.

Olvin Johan (Jr.) - really? Olvin? ;) I'd guess a variation of Alvin, especially since he's a Jr. This actually has potential. Similar to Oliver. Nn options (I'd go with Ollie or Noll myself). I like it.

Lucas Henry - Henry Lucas flows better, but I like it either way. ;)

Ryan Harris - ooh, that's lovely. I've always liked Ryan, and Harris is a favorite.

Kenneth Oliver - again, I prefer Oliver Kenneth, but good either way

James Edward - distinguished. I'd keep the order but call him Ned. ;)

April Raine - oops. They didn't get the memo about all the great names this week, because this is truly gag-worthy. I'd imagine her sisters were Summer Skye and Icee Winter and that they would all one day become "entertainers" and open their own, ahem, "lounge."

Ryan Bobby George - what? Why Bobby? LOL That just does NOT fit with Ryan and George (both of which I do like).

Griffin Faruk (Faruk is father's fn) - I'd guess Arabic parents who wanted a more common, "American" sounding fn. It works.

Conner Sylvester - a con man named Sylvester (nn Sly? ). Ironic. LMAO "Conner" is one of the worst -- and most easily avoided -- misspellings. I mean, come on! It's a fairly common English word. A conner. Ripoff artist. Flimflam man. Swindler. Matchstick man. Look it up! The NAME is Conor. Connor at the very least. So unless you're hoping your child will, in fact, one day aspire to commit fraud (ironically, also becoming a "con(vict)" if caught), do him a favor and ask someone how the name is spelled BEFORE making it official. LOL

Riley Louise - that's unfortunate. While I like Louise and am all for a traditionally feminine mn when using a masculine fn, I'm certain many will see this as Riley Louis. ;)

Alexander Filip - the obligatory Alex- name (only one this week, though, so that's good). Filip is fine, especially if the F spelling really reflects heritage (rather than simply "liking Philip with an F").

Hailee Annette - reminds me of marionette. ;) Not into "Hailee."

Silvanna Rosa - very Italian. ;) Silvanna/Silvana/Silvanus/Sylvain always remind me of the Sylvan Learning Centers, but association aside, nice names.

Thanks for sharing! Lots of good ones this week.

This post is actually even funnier than the name all by itself. Icee Winter made me spit diet coke on my shirt, thank you very much.

The only one I like is Mary Lawrence. Where I live, these long, fancy names (Gabriella, Alexandria, etc) are still the rage. I'd love to meet a Mary at a play group. It's refreshing now.

Sorry, Linda! ;) A little club soda will get that right out ... or does club soda actually work on SODA? Kind of a good twin, evil twin thing? hehe

Ps. I have a little cousin named Mary -- well, I suppose she's not so "little" anymore, I suppose she's about 10 or so -- and I was thrilled to hear they'd chosen Mary. So sweet. My grandmother, also Mary, thought it "an odd choice for a little baby." LOL I disagree. ;)
