EVANGELINA???? poss. nn Evie (long e sound)

Do you like it? Would you use it? Is it considered timeless/feminine?
Does Grace Evangelina flow? Would u use this combo if ln starts w/ 'w'?
Evangelina Grace better? Forget Grace b/c of intial combo of EG/GEW?
Thanks so much!!!

I like both Evangelina Grace and Grace Evangelina. If you have a long last name, I would opt for the latter and vice versa. You should also think about popularity - Grace is by far more popular. If that bothers you, choose Evangelina. Having EW as initials might bother me a bit, but at the same time, how often does someone use their initials, and she could always use all 3 initials instead of just 2.

I don't like Evangelina at all, but like Evangeline a lot.

I like both Evangeline and Evangelina. It is a little long, but the nn Evie is so cute. I could not do a double name with Grace because it seems a little long.

If you like Evie you might also like:
Eva - I do think that Grace Eva or Eva Grace works for a double name
Evelyn
Eveline
Geneva, nn Ginny/Eva/Evie

I wasn't neccessary thinking double name w/ this choice. I was trying to think of a mn. DH LOVES Grace so I was trying to see if it would work. I am concerned w/ initials GEW though. I was thinking that Evangelina was nice, Evie is CUTE and DH could still have Gracie for his pet name. She would have many options Grace, Gracie, Evie, Evangelina. I just wasn't sure if the flow worked. I kinda like Grace Evagelina better but worry about the GEW.

Thanks!!

I actually know a baby Evangelina Grace, nn Eva. :-) I think it's a beautiful name with lots of great nn options -- Eve, Eva, Evie, Angie, or Lina/Lena. It is a little long, but with the shorter nicknames and the short middle name, I think it's fine.

Gracie would be a sweet Daddy nn, too. Our neighbor calls his granddaughter Rosie b/c her middle name is Rose, and it's just adorable -- it's his pet name for her.

I think Evangelina Grace sounds better than Grace Evangelina, and I don't see a problem with the EGW or GEW initials.

It is nice and has a very classy feel to it. I would drop Grace, honestly it has become so tired that I am tired of hearing it. Evangelina Jane or Evangelina Claire have the same feel, but are less common. Nice choice.

I would not worry about GEW. I thought of another Grace double name: Grace Ellen

I like the name Evangelina. I think that it sounds good with Grace but I think that which name goes first depends on the last name. For example, our last name tends to sound better with a longer first name but I just say the full name out loud and its easier to tell which combo sounds better.
