Is anyone naming their girls this anymore? I haven't met a little girl named Laura in a long time. I like it, it seems that is goes with Hannah and Matthew ok, it sounds gentle and feminine to me. Any opinions? I like Laura, Leah, Chloe, and Elise.

I think it's very pretty and goes perfectly with Hannah and Matthew. The youngest Laura that I know is in her early 20s. It's a pretty name - and due a comeback. :)

I love the name, but my husband and I have a no duplicates rule. I have a cousin named Laura in her 20's, but I think its pretty classic like the names of your other children. She might be the only one in her class, but people won't think its strange.
Laura Elise is very pretty, too.

Laura definitely fits w/ your other children's names. It sounds nice. I do, however, like Leah better & Elise even more than Leah. But you can't go wrong w/ any of them.

As for its popularity, the youngest Laura I know is in upper-elementary school.
