Other than the obvious name Olivia, what could the nickname "Liv" be used for? Your suggestions would be appreciated!

I've seen the name Livia & think it's pretty, although obviously quite close to Olivia!

How about Elizabeth, or something like Lydia, Lillian or Lily (perhaps better with a "V" middle name like Violet)?

DH and I both love Liv, but none of the names that it is a nn for! Actually, Liv is a name on its own (Scandanavian) but I'm not sure if I would use it that way or not.

I do like the poster's idea about a Li- fn and a V mn, using nn Liv.

Some friends of mine named their baby Livia - without the O.

I didn't read thru the other responses, so this is likely a repeat - but how about Lavinia?

Liv pronounced "Leev" is a name all on it's own. I believe it's scandinavian.

Names for which Liv could be a nickname:
Elizabeth
Liviana
Livia
Olive
Livette
Olivette
