What do you *feel* you are having??

Question here for everyone out there---do you "feel" you know what you are having--a boy or a girl?? And if you already have found out the sex of the baby, did you already feel that you knew what it was??

I know for this pregnancy we are having boy #3, and had a feeling because I was stressing over boy names. For the first two pregnancies, we did not find out the sex and I knew in my heart they were both boys. Everyone thought for sure #2 was a girl but me, I felt strongly it was a boy.

Just wondering how many of us out there have been right with our "feelings" and what those of you who don't know, think you are having.

I have a feeling that I am having a boy, I don't know why. I also stressed over boys names as well, but we finally decided on Nathaniel David. We got out girl name right off the bat - Leah Marie. I told my husband that I have myself so convinced that I am having a boy that I hope I won't be dissapointed if it is a girl! I always refer to the baby as "he".

A boy, eh? Isn't it exciting not knowing what you are having? I loved it for the first 2!

It is exciting! We did not want to find out at our ultrasound. We want a surprise, to hear in the delivery room, "It's a......!"

I am pg with #3 and haven't found out with any of them. I was really quite sure #1 was a girl (he wasn't) and positive #2 was a boy (she wasn't), so this time I have totally disconnected myself from any maternal guessing instinct as I have proven I cannot be trusted.

I'm pregnant with third child. Not finding out gender ahead of time. I "feel" like I'm having a girl only because I'm carrying completely different this time. With both boys I carried high and filled out everywhere, hips and butt got wide and I gained over 50 pounds with each. So far (21 weeks, 4 days) I've gained 15 pounds and am only carrying in stomach, very low (belly button level and lower) and that's the only place I'm filling out so far. But...in my family, our niece just had her third girl (of 3 children), SO, I figure it's probably a boy again and my theory of how I'm carrying is all in my head!(ROFL) With our first one everyone (including myself) thought I was having a boy, and sure enough it was. His name we were set on and we were having trouble with the girl name. So, we've had the girl name on reserve for 2 pregnancies now and hoping to get the chance to use it!

With my boys, I was absolutely sure it was a boy; only 'he' turned out to be two 'he's! I was having such a tough time figuring out a boys name I was convinced it was a boy! I managed to come up with a second name two days after they were born!

With my daughter, I had a boys name within hours of finding out I was pregnant and couldn't figure out a girls name at all, so by month 4 I was convinced I was having a girl just because I couldn't find a name. Turns out I was right there too.

So I am completely convinced now that whichever name I'm having a harder time with, that's the sex of the child I'm having!

Lola-n-posie, Don't tell me that you didn't know you were having twins until you had them!

I knew I having twins after being preganant for 4 months. I had them back in 1986, before ultrasounds were a regular part of prenatal checkups. The doctor heard two heartbeats, but I didn't know they were both boys. I had one boys name and two girls names ready, but two boys names were giving me the hardest time of all!

I believe that the mothers instinct is usually acurate. From the people that I know who have had children almost all of them guessed right. I am on my first child and I do have a feeling that I am having a boy. I am not sure if it is just because I would like a boy first, and the fact the everyone around me is having girls. My friend who is 1 1/2 months ahead of me swears she is having a girl because she has been so sick. I doubt we will have the same sex babies so that just make me think even more.
