What do you think of the name Ruby Grace? I do like it but I don't know if I'm in love with it.

I love Ruby Grace. I think it's pretty, classy, and feminine. I think it goes very well with sister Lillian Marie.

That being said, I would never use a name that I didn't love, even if DH did. I say keep Ruby Grace at the top of the list but keep thinking and take a few options to the hospital and wait to see which names seem to fit the baby better.

I think it's cute but I'm not big on combining 2 word names.

I think Ruby is a perfect fit with sister Lillian - I really love it.

If you don't love it, though, do keep looking - you might stumble across a name in an unlikely place that you both love. It could happen!

And I completely sympathize with you on the DH thing. My hubby got a name is his mind when I was six months pregnant (Rory), and from that point on considered nothing else, or else he would say he considered it, and decided it wasn't as good as Rory. When we had a four-day old girl with no name, I finally gave in - he just was NOT budging, and I did like the name Rory, I just didn't love it. And I did get more say on her middle name.

Sometimes marriage (unfortunately) involves way more compromise then we'd want. :( I personally hold to the theory that the one who has to be pregnant for nine months should get the lion's share of the naming decision, but DH doesn't agree.

What names are on the top of your list, if it was just up to you?

My dh knows there are just some arguments he won't win, or if he does, the cost of winning isn't worth it.
