hi,

i am only 18 weeks pregnant but my husband and i plan on finding out the sex of the baby at our next appt. we already have a name picked out for a boy and girl. just want to know what you think? we are partial towards non-traditional names and something "different". our baby will be a "mix" so to speak. i am asian and my husband is caucasian so that is where the "different" name comes in to play.

for a boy we chose Rowan and for a girl Lunden. do you have any suggestions?

Yay! A boy Rowan! Love that name on a little guy. ;)

Lunden is not really my style, unless you have a special reason for the name, but as long as you like it. ;)

I like Rowan a lot. I'm not wild about the spelling of Lunden - I prefer Londen - but it's starting to grow on me.

Good luck!

I'm afraid that Rowan isn't that "different" anymore. It's becoming popular for girls, so personally I'd stay away from it for a boy. If I saw Lunden on a class roster I would assume the child was given a family last name and there was some special meaning behind it. If not, there a much prettier names for a girl, imo.

LOVE Rowan and still thinking about Lunden. I think its the spelling throwing me off though, not the name itself. What would the middle names be?? Great choices though!

LOVE Rowan for a boy!! Lunden is ummm a little different ;). I think it's just the spelling that I am trying to get used to or something. I'm not sure, just looks a little bit "off". Sorry, don't mean to offend, JMO :)
