What does everyone think of the name Abianne? Pronounced Abby-ann. It would be Abianne Curry. Thanks

Sorry, but I guess its not my style. I think to just look at it someone would say, "huh?" before they figured out the way to pronounce it. I prefer to name her Abbie Ann--as first and middle name.

I think the spelling makes it difficult to pronounce. Why not Abby Anne?

I don't know how to type the pronunciation, but I would have thought it was said more like Abby-ahn (more of an o sound than a short a), if that makes sense. I think it's kind of pretty that way. I don't really care for the Abby-ann pronunciation though. JMO

I agree with the other posts. It is not my style at all and I think the spelling is not clear as to how it should be pronounced.

It's okay. I didnt' like it at first, but when I repeated it over in my head, it sounded a little better. It's nice.

I read Abianne as AB-ee-ahn. I think naming her Abigail Ann and calling her Abby Ann would be easier and prettier.

I like the sound of the name for you, I think it fits your style perfectly and big brother's name, if I remember right from your previous post. But, there is something about the spelling that takes away from the name. Did you have a different mn in mind? I went to school with a girl and her name was Abby (Jo) and everybody called her by her fn and mn. So, that might be an option for you. I just think speling it that way is going to cause alot of mispronunciation and she is constantly going to have to correct people and she is going to have to spell it out all the time. If this doesn't bother you then go for it, if this is the name you love. :)

Honestly, I think the name looks odd & somewhat confusing. I would suggest naming her "Abby Ann Lastname" & then calling her Abby Ann.

If you really prefer to combine the names into one maybe you could spell it more like Abbyanne, Abbianne, ... no ... none of those looks right.
