What do you think?

My husband and I are fairly certain that we're having a boy, but we want to have a girl's name picked out anyway. We were completely decided on Karma Carolee until we told my mom and stepdad and they both wrinkled their noses, mumbling something about "the stigmas attached to good karma/bad karma" but I looked it up, and the actual definition of Karma is "action". What do you think?

I don't know where you found that definition of "karma." I just read eight definitions and they are all "fate" and/or "destiny."
Aside from the meaning (good/bad karma), Karma Carolee is just too sing-songy sounding to me.
DH works w/ a woman by that name (Karma) & every time he says her name I think to myself, "That name is kind of odd." She's actually Spanish or Hispanic.
Sorry, I'm not too crazy about Karma either.
I like Karma, I say use it if you want.

I don't like it either, and despite the meaning you found when you looked it up, your mom is right about the good karma/bad karma thing. but I'm also bothered by how Karma Carolee doesn't even sound good together at all
Carolee is kinda of weird in itself. Caroline, Carol or Carolyn are known names, but even they wouldn't be right with Karma for a middle
Sounds too much like "caramel candy" to me.
Plus I just don't like the whole good/bad karma association.
I totally agree with the previous poster!!
