The name Ailey (A-LEE) for a girl. My grandfathers name was Arza-Lee, my mn is Lee and so is my mother's, after him of course, heard the name Ailey and thought it would be a cool way to honor him...is Ailey a good spelling, or can ya'll think of something better? Thanks so much!!

Whit,
I think it's a lovely name, and definitely a plus that it incorporates your grandfather's name as well as your/your mother's mn (and even better that it is a REAL name and not just something made-up, KWIM?). The only thing I would mention is that you might want to be aware that some will assume it is a "trendy" variant of Hailey (while in reality it is related to Aileen and means light/light bearer). Not trying to steer you away from it, but it is something you should know ahead of time. Oh, and I would definitely stick with the regular Ailey spelling, otherwise it WILL be a trendy misspelling, KWIM?
HTH ;)

Although I truly love the idea of honoring your grandfather, I just don't like the name Ailey. I tried to like it, I really did, because of the great meaning behind it. But, I just can't help it; I tie it in with all those Halle, Hayley, Kylie, Bailey names, and it just looks like a trendy little-girl name instead of a sophisticated adult's name. I'll say again, though, that I really love that you want to honor your grandfather.
Have you officially rejected all the other suggestions from the previous post...Zara, Leeza, Azra, and a few others...or are you just still looking? Let us know if we can help in any way, and definitely let us know when you decide.
