OK ladies I want your honest opinions (yet again) I am having another girl and she is still unnamed-please tell me what you think of Mary-Ella (it was my great grandma's name & she was born in the mid 1800s & died in the early 1900s) does it go with Patrick & Alexandra? I think I'm trying too hard to find a name that lives up to my other kids names Emma Christine (deceased), Patrick Jonathan & Alexandra Genevieve

thanks

michele

I think it's a wonderful name that fits well with the siblings. Good luck!

I love Mariella! Mary-Ella just doesn't look nearly as pretty to me.

Good luck.

I think Mary-Ella is perfect and it definitley goes with the other kids names. Not too mention it is kind of an honor to your great grandmother. Probably one of the prettiest names I have heard in a while! Good luck!

I love the sound of the name but the spelling isnt my favorite. Im not a fan of names with hyphens of it, it just doesnt seem natural. Consider losing the hyphen either like another person said Mariella or even just Maryella. I think with the hyphen it has a greater chance to get shortened to one of the names, and Im sure you wont like that

I think it is very pretty and also goes very well with the others! I two love using family names....and old names you don't really here that often anymore! One question...are you going to use ella as the middle name or will it be Mary-ella -----??

Good luck!
