I like Rose, I dislike Kendall.

Kendall is a last name, also a boys name more than a girls, also trendy, cutesy and not a good name in my opinion.

Sorry.

I Love it! Kendall is a strong name that I love to hear. It is not popular and not trendy/made up, but it is modern, I like that. Rose is beautiful and I love the family connection. Perfect.

Honestly?

I think it's pretty, but very blah. It really doesn't do anything for me.

Also Kendall always make me think "Ken doll" -- I think you can do better.

I have always thought Kendall sounded a bit masculine. Years ago when I 1st heard the name I did think the person was referring to a boy.

Kendall is nice, but NMS. I like Rose as a middle name, especially since it has family significance.

You could also consider Rosalie as a first name.

Kendall doesn't bother me on a girl, and it sounds nice in theory, but I do picture a man when someone mentions the name (my dh worked with a very large African American man named Kendall, so I have a hard time picturing it as feminine). So if you LIKE the idea of a unisex or masculine name, it's fine, but if that might bother you it's something to be aware of.

Kendall Rose is a nice combo, especially since it honors someone you love, but it is VERY common/expected. It seems like a majority of the masculine names you hear on girls are paired with Rose (probably in an attempt to "balance it out," which is good, but Rose seems to be used for this purpose a lot). Avery Rose, Emerson Rose, Logan Rose, Eliot Rose, Madison Rose, Austin Rose, etc. I've seen all of these.
