Just curious what ppl thought of the name Brenner ???
I've gotten mixed reviews on it. Id never heard of it before and created it from two of my favorite names Renner and Bennett. Let me know what you thing and what type of nicknames would come from it.

Hi,

There's a Brenner in my niece's 3rd grade class. I think it's a form of Brendan/Brandon.

I like it but I way prefer Bennett. My other niece (1st grade) has a good friend called Brenna (girl) and I hear that the name Brenna is becoming popular which I feel sounds very similar to Brenner. I also like Brennon which is very similar but doesn't sound like Brenna as much.

I really like it! It's not out there but it's also not common...

Brenner is a somewhat known surname, so it wouldn't be surprising to hear it used as a first name. It's somewhat common in my area as a surname

I like Brennan better for a first name

It's not my style but I can't think of any negative associations to go with it.

It's just okay with me...I was thinking that something felt "off" about it, but I couldn't quite put my finger on what, and when I did...well...it probably won't matter to anyone under 35 (I'm 34, so I'm on the edge.) It just sounds a bit like you mushed Bruce Jenner's whole name together. Otherwise, it's a nice enough name and I can't think of anything truly wrong with it.

Bruce Jenner is what I thought too actually. (I'm 27)

It isn't personally my style but I do like it. It's kinda funky without being too weird.

It's not bad I guess, but you should know that it means "burner" in German. That just seems really weird to me and sort of negative. (Renner means "runner," by the way.)
hope that helps,
