I am loving the name Alora right now. DH is just not so sure about it. Maybe because he's never heard it before. Even though it is different, I think it sounds nice. What are your thoughts?

Alora is a very romantic name to me. It makes me think of ancient mystical princesses, like Sleeping Beauty, and Swan Lake and of the Arthurian legends and the like. Very beautiful. Maybe it's too romantic for DH, like how some men get the cooties from seeing too much pink in the doll section of the toy store? I think it's a good name.

Hi,

My cousin named her daughter Alora and the movie Willow is exactly where she got it from. I thought it was different but pretty, and now that I know my cousin's daughter as a fiesty little 4 year old, the name is just perfect and suits her well. And no one has called her Laura yet from her preschool which is good.
