I know a lot of them. dont know if it is a area thing or what. But lived in NJ had them there and now Georgia got them here. *my sons g/f's name is that too. lol he is 5 yrs lol Good luck!

DF loves that name and has been begging since before I was pregnant, but it's NMS. It is pretty so I compromised with Skylie. I've only known 1 Skylar and that as a little girl I used to babysit for 15 years ago or so.

i like it...but it is pretty unisex, if that is ok with you. i only know 1 skylar and it is a boy. but i don't think it is too trendy. we have the mn of Skye on our list!

I know one Skylar. But there is a mom on the Sig. Showcase board with a little girl named Skylar. I personally LOVE the name. Don't know how trendy it is though.

I don't really care for that name....I'm not really sure what it is.....but I know I don't like that it can go either way...boy or girl
