What do you think of Sadie?

Just found this site and would love your opinions. We are hoping 3rd is a little girl (due July) We chose the name Chloe, but found out how popular it was, then toyed with Zoe but it is up to 50 on the list and probably still rising. Last night the name Sadie came to me. DH said it sounds good. It is century name and is at about 200 in popularity on the charts. It would also work to honor DH's favorite aunt Sarah who died last year. Middle name would be for my great aunt who is an absolute sweetheart.
So what do you think of Sadie Genevieve Taylor? Brothers are Nathaniel(Nate), and Weston (Wes).
Thanks for listening,
Gin

Without trying to sound a bit mean, I would pity a child named Sadie...
It is the 4th ranked Female Dog Name. I also do NOT know any humans by that name...however I do know 4 dogs with the same name. Kids can be cruel don't give them material to work with if you can avoid it. JMHO

I personally don't care for it - too nicknamey for me - I had several elderly aunts (all deceased now) whose names were Sarah and went by Sadie. also, and maybe this is just a quirky thing here, but I know way too many dogs named Sadie, mostly Golden Retrievers and Golden Labs.
I much prefer Chloe. I know a couple of little girls named Chloe here and there, I don't think it's overly popular.
good luck.
I think Sarah Genevieve and call her Sadie. It is more of a cutesy name and when she is older she might want to be called by a more formal name.

Thank you all for your great input. I put the name to the mom test last night and she thinks it is great. I am a bit concerned about the dog thing, but it is ballanced by living in the South where Buddy is a common name for boys ;) I think I will go with Sadie Genevieve since there are a lot of Sarahs in our circle of friends. We can't switch the order since my own name is Ginny (and I'm not interested in a junior). I personally don't know any dogs named Sadie, so that helps (I did own a cat named Chloe for 11 years).
Thanks All,
Gin
I really like Sadie because it is very pretty, but it sounds so nickname-ish to me. Why not name your daughter Mercedes, nickname Sadie? I know Sadie is a popular nickname for Mercedes, which I also think is pretty.
Just a thought! I do love Sadie, don't get me wrong.
