These are all good names! Here are my opinions:

Rachael - prefer Rachel

Clarissa - very nice, I also like Carissa, Charissa, Karissa, Larissa, etc. - could use nn Claire/Clare/Clara

Paige - okay, prefer as a middle name

Cadence - really like, I'm hearing it a lot on this board, use nn of Cady

Casey (maybe as a nn. could I use it for Cadence?) - I like, could use as nn for Cadence, but I prefer for other "Cas" names like Cassandra, Cassidy, Cassia, etc. I really like Kaci, and as nn for Karissa or initials of KC, like Katrina Claire, etc.

Grace - very elegant name, I also like Gracelyn/Gracelynn

Trinity - nice and not overly common! But, I can't think of a good nn

Sierra - my ds has one in his Kindergarten. pretty, similar to Sarah yet different

Saige - love as a middle name, although I prefer Sage - how about Sierra Sage?

Very good list, and it's always great to plan ahead!

I prefer names that are unique, not so popular, easily recognizable and spellable, and that grow well with a child. To me, you have many names on your list that meet ALL of my criteria. I like Saige best. Also, I like Sierra & Cadence. I think Paige is a lovely mn that's not as overused as some short mn. Grace was once a beautiful name, but I've just heard it too much now. Clarissa is also gorgeous, darling on a tot, sophisticated on a woman. Trinity is not my style and I like Rachel better this spelling, a lovely classic. Hope this helps! Ginger

I like Paige the best from your list. It's a very sophisticated name, yet appropriate for a child, and it's not overused.

Rachael - I like this name, and I really like this spelling

Clarissa - ok, it's a little frilly for my taste, though. I prefer just Claire or Clara. I disagree with the previous poster, though, that it would not be appropriate for a grown women. There are plenty of women out there named Melissa and Alyssa, so why not Clarissa?

Paige - as I mentioned above, this one is my favorite on the list

Cadence - I think this one is kind of trendy, and while I usually don't love trendy names, I do actually like Cadence, nn Cady.

Casey - it's ok. I prefer Cassie as a nn for Cassandra, Cassidy, or even Catherine. However, I think you could use Casey as a nn for any of those names. And I've also known several Caseys (boys and girls) who's full and formal name is just Casey. With all of the Rileys and Jamies, etc. out there, I think Casey is a perfectly acceptable full name as opposed to a nn.

Grace - pretty, but a bit boring, in my book. And it's a popular name. But one that you could never go wrong with.

Trinity - I don't care for this one. It is too overtly religious, in my book, and I don't think it was even on anyone's radar until the Matrix. I like many of your other names better.

Sierra - ok, but I am not crazy about it. It's seems too nature-ish, hippy-ish to be my style, but I know a lot of people really like it. I prefer just plain old Sarah.

Saige - This one is ok -- again, a bit nature-ish. I like it spelled Sage, and I prefer it for a middle name.

Hope this helps!
