Looking for opinions on two girl names: Morgan and Carolyn. What type of girl comes to mind when you think of the names Morgan and Carolyn? My husband loves Morgan,it's his top girls name choice. Let me know what you think! Thanks!

Those are both great names!

I've only known two Morgans but both were sweet, outgoing, smart, and funny, and both of them were athletic but still feminine. So I'd say I think of a charismatic girl who isn't entirely a tomboy but definitely isn't prissy.

I've known a few Carolyns but all of different ages so I don't feel that any particular image of a Carolyn comes to me - but I really like the name. I think it's one of those names that suits a wide range like the name Sarah or Elizabeth.

I much prefer Carolyn - it's not as common and not as trendy as Morgan. It's a very pretty name. And, if you like nicknames, "Carly" is an option.

Morgan to me is a bit trendy (mid to late 90's name). I picture a spunky girl. However, Carolyn is a classic. And, I picture a classic little girl. A name to be proud of for sure when she is older. I'm also partial to the classics.

I like both of them! I do prefer the spelling Caroline though.

Morgan reminds me of an athletic, cute, spunky girl; Caroline - a southern bell.

I like Morgan better than Carolyn, but I like Caroline better than either. Carolyn makes me think of a cheerleader, for some reason, not that there's anything wrong with cheerleading. I don't have a specific image of a Morgan.
