What goes with DD named Brett?
| Mon, 10-16-2006 - 11:47am |
I have a DD named Brett Gabriella (named after her Grandfather). I am looking for names to go with it. They don't have to start with a B, but I would prefer they did or at least sounded good with Brett. Here are some we are thinking of, but we're not set on any of them. Any other suggestions? Any favorites we have listed? Please answer honestly.
Girl: Bree, Brynn, Baylee (DH middle name is Lee so we'd go with that spelling)
Boy: Bodie, Bowen, Boden, (all nn Bo), Beckett, Ryder, Mac, Hudson, Hutch, Holden
Thanks!

I was so excited when I saw that your daughter's name is Brett- that is beautiful. However the fact that you want a matching initial for the next one is disapointing. When I hear sibs with matching initials I find it so cutesy and it takes away from the individual beauty of the names. Just my thoughts to give you something to think about.
That said, I will give you some ideas on names that don't begin with a B, to give you some fresh options. They are mainly "cowboy" names as IMO Brett has that feel, and other literary names, like Brett.
