What if I had 2 "G" named dds?

We are expecting dd #2 in October and a name we are considering is Gwyneth. One thing holdong me back is we already have a dd Gabriella. I don't want to start a "first letter be the same for all my kids" pattern, but I really hate to exclude a name I like because of that. We plan on having a lot of children, so would it be wierd if we had two "G" babies and no more after that, even if we had more girls? Also, is Gabriella and Gwyneth to much of a mouth full? Gabriella goes by Gabriella to most people, but I call her Ella-belle, and we would probably call the new baby Gwyn (now that looks kinda funny to me shortened, is that spelled right?) Anyway, I NEED HELP!! Please post any opinions! TIA

As for whether Gabriella and Gwyneth are too much of a mouthful; you're the one who will be shouting those names for the next twenty years, so it's really up to you to decide. Gwyneth is only two syllables, so unless you go with a one-syllable name for your next daughter you are going to have the same problem. It's Gabriella, with it's four syllables, that makes things challenging, and since she's already named you're pretty much looking at a mouthful! (Pretty names, by the way).
Hope that helps. Good luck!
I agree, I don't think it's really a pattern until you have 3 or 4 kids with the same letter, I don't think that having two kids with "Gs" matters.

If you like Gwenyth then use it, just cause you have two with G names dosent mean if you had another child you would have to continue the trend. I just pick names I like, just so happens I have 5 out of my 7 kids named with the last sounds of "Ah"... Cierra, Savnnah, Arianna, Isaiah , Rebecca.... Didnt do it on purpose, just liked the names.... I say if you like it use it, dosent matter if it has the same first sound.
