What is the perfect name for right now?
| Mon, 09-18-2006 - 4:49pm |
We all talk about certain names being too trendy, too creative (in spelling or otherwise), too stuffy, too popular, too out there.... so what would the "perfect" boy and girl name(s) be for right now in 2006? In your opinion of course.
This is just for fun -- I'm sure lots of us will think some or all of our own children's names ... but I'm curious what your answers will be.
Have fun!
Karen

??? Just my opinion of names that fit our times, but aren't "too" whatever, they just seem to fit (imho).
WDYT?

Of course, there are no "perfect" names, but here are some I like... I don't think any are in the top 50, but I might be wrong. These are all easy to traditionally spell (LOL, my pet peeve), but not so common that there will be tons of kids with these names.

Thanks for sharing (each pp)
Ginger, very true on all of your comments, I love it.
I agree that Rhett and Oliver are soon to be popular. I even toyed with Rhett as a nn for Everett. Someone else is toying with it either on this board or another. There's an Etta coming on one of the other boards and I just saw an announcement of an Etta mn.
great answers,
keep em coming!
