I'm just curious what everyone else’s top 5 favorite boy/girl names list looks like.
Mine changes frequently, but right now it looks like this:
Boy’s (not including my ds, Griffin, which I’ve already used so I don’t consider it in my current list)
1.Callum-FYI dh hates this one
2.Declan
3.Rafferty
4.Silas
5.Taggert- dh HATES this one too
Girls:
1.Tallula
2.Cordelia
3.Romilly
4.Felicity- dh HATES this one
5.Isadora
Dh was willing to play too, but not for the full top 5…
Boy:
1.Declan
2.Dylan
3.Atticus
Girl:
1.Eudora
2.Sabine
3.Delia
4.Tallula

Hello Annie,
Here's my list. As I'm looking at it, it really is a crazy mix...but I truly appreciate all styles of names. :)
Boys
1. Griffin (You're lucky you got to use it, but I had two girls and I'm done!)
2. Wyatt
3. Cal (Not sure about Calvin or Callahan...I just love the name "Cal")
4. Jasper
5. Heath
Girls
1. Hadley
2. Greer
3. Margot
4. Mae
5. Beatrix
PS: I love Declan from your list. I actually know quite a few...lots of Irish here in Boston! :)
Edited to add PS.

Not to sound totally ignorant, but some of the names that are just not my style that have been talked about here completely elude me in terms of pronunciation, and I'd love it if the people who have them on their lists can post a phonetic guide or something. I've been looking for a baby names site that has a phonetic spelling, but none of them seem to. The names are:
Romilly
Imogen
Grainne
TIA! I like to know what people are talking about :)
I don't know about Romilly, but I can help with the other two.
Imogen: IM-oh-jin/IM-oh-jen
Grainne: GRAWN-ya

(edited because I just read your other post)
I've never seen the Leanora spelling. It's really quite pretty!
Soma,
I thought I'd replied to this, but don't see it now! LOL Anyway, how cool you knew a Grainne/Grania (whichever spelling ... I'm actually not opposed to common Anglicizations, though in this case I just find Grainne more attractive). ;)
And I LOVE the Leanora spelling. It's on my own list, actually (because I think the -a ending of Leanora and Elinora better breaks up the 'or' sounds in both the first and lns if I should ever use a Nora name). ;) I just found the Lea- beginning a bit softer than the Leo- (maybe because I love Leo for a boy LOL), and like that it comes more directly from Eleanor.
