I'm just curious what everyone else’s top 5 favorite boy/girl names list looks like.
Mine changes frequently, but right now it looks like this:
Boy’s (not including my ds, Griffin, which I’ve already used so I don’t consider it in my current list)
1.Callum-FYI dh hates this one
2.Declan
3.Rafferty
4.Silas
5.Taggert- dh HATES this one too

Girls:
1.Tallula
2.Cordelia
3.Romilly
4.Felicity- dh HATES this one
5.Isadora

Dh was willing to play too, but not for the full top 5…
Boy:
1.Declan
2.Dylan
3.Atticus

Girl:
1.Eudora
2.Sabine
3.Delia
4.Tallula

I love your lists! The only thing is I would spell it "Kirsten," but that's just a personal preference. It's nice to see that so many people are fans of Claire!

Great lists! I have a cousin named Callum; never known anyone else with that name, which is a real shame. I'm not sure if it's more common in the UK, where my mother's family mostly lives, though.

Really love Guinevere and Phineas, too. :)

More people like Sebastian than I would have thought! I like it, too.

For the girls' names, I wonder if there's a particular reason you are using the Klare spelling? This is the first time I've ever seen it spelled other than Claire or Clare.

Also, Effie is a bit nicknamey. Are you using it as a shortened form of another name, or do you like this as a given name on its own?

Thanks...it's good to hear positive feedback. I just shared my list with my mom yesterday and she HATED every girl name on it! When asked what names she liked she said Madeline, Bella and Grace, which are all wonderful names, but way too popular for my liking.

When I named my ds Sebastian, both my parents and dh's were like 'oh, that's quite unexpected...' I guess it was a nice way of putting it that they didnt really like it! They all LOVE it now. Seb suits his name perfectly- I havent had anyone say they really hate it but there seems to be plenty of people who tell me they just love it, they love to hear it being used, and that's nice ;)
