Sloane has negative connotations in the UK,

I prefer Celia Mae. I like the SOUND of Sloane, but it makes me think of the bad guy from Alias (yeah, I'm a TV dork) and I feel like I remember it being slang for a snob back when I was in high school. Neither one of these would probably matter to the current generation, it just taints how I personally see the name, so I don't think you can really lose either way.

i love Celia Mae, Sloane just doesn't sound "pretty" to me (but I tend to like girly names so maybe thats just me)
