I like Ashlyn Brooke better on a girl.
I think I prefer Arden. I knew an Arden (female) so because of that don't find it overly masculine. I also knew an Arlen though (female), so maybe that is another option for you.
While Ashlyn has a nice sound, I don't love the Americanized changing of the spelling. If you are searching for an A name, you may also like Adelia or Amaya.

I may have said Ashley by accident (haven't re-read my post) but it is an Americanized spelling Aisling/Aislinn, an Irish name pronounced the same way. Nothing wrong with this, but I thought I would point it out at it may be something you want to know if you choose this name...
