Hi everyone, I tried to post this before, but it didn't work.

Which spelling of Lucy do you like better? Last name starts with an S (not that it matters much).

Lucy (traditional)
Lucie (I think this looks like a younger, more stylish way)
Luci
Lucia (pronounced Lou-C-uh)

I don't like Lucille, so my choices are to stick with Lucy or Lucia.

Thanks!

Lucy Elizabeth was another one of our choices! WHAT a beautiful combo. Congrats on choosing such a beautiful name! I love this suggestion.

You're welcome. ;) And thanks for the compliments on Devanie's name as well. Always nice to hear.

I would go with Lucia, nn Lucy or Luci. Lucie just looks strange, I knew what it was spelling, but I had to look at it twice, KWIM?

I went to college with a girl named Luciana (this was the first time I'd heard the name and still think it's beautiful). Her nn was Luci, and I think this sounds pretty with Belle, and far enough away so you don't think of a spunky redheaded comidenne. ;) HTH

oh i LOVE Luciana. Unfortunately DH's neice is Gianna and it's too close for us. I would have loved to use it though. It's so pretty.

Definitely Lucy. Or Lucia nn Lucy. The others look like a trendy spin on a gorgeous, classy name. I wouldn't use them!

I named my daughter Lucia to give her something to grow into. I love the name Lucy but felt that when she was older, it might be very "young" in a business setting. We generally call her Lulu but she knows to snap to attention when she hears Lucia!
