I think what Nikki means by trendy is the surge in "k" names--Keely, Kinsey, Kamryn, Katelee, Kayci, etc. For me, they all run together and many of them feel made up to me. I know there are people out there with these names--some who are certainly older than the trend--but many people are taking the basic trend and making up new variations (in both spelling and sound). I don't mean that to be insulting--obviously there are a lot of people who like this direction or it wouldn't have become a trend--but it's just not my style. I think these names will definitely be tied to the 2000's (much as Jennifer, Melissa and
