Why can't I use these names?

There are many names that I adore and wish I heard more in real life; but I don't feel like I should use them because they don't "feel" like the name of my child (whatever that means). Some of the girls' names are: Adela, Helena, Zara, Kendra, Muir, Ivy, Valentina, Giselle, Sandrine. Some of the boys' names are: Clive, Cilian/Kilian, Callum, Conrad, Sean.

Have you had this feeling about any name? Any idea where it comes from? What are some of the names that you like but don't feel you can use because they somehow just don't feel right?

A lot of your names seem perfectly accessible to me...but I know the feeling. When we were naming Penn, there were a lot of names that I liked, but that I simply couldn't see on my child. I couldn't put a finger on why, but they just didn't feel like a fit. For me, the names include: Ivy, Jocasta, Willow, Tyne, Diana, Viola, Roma, Vera, Majel/Sebastian, Lincoln, Caius, Hudson, Fergus, Quinn, Shea, Thane.

Zara, Helena and Ivy are names that I've seen cropping up on a lot of people's lists, and I've seen Callum and Sean mentioned several times too, so I think they're all names that are coming into style.
