Will our child hate me for this?

Hi All,
I am having a bit of a panic attack over this! Ok the post on naming Sibs with the same first inital got me thinking. Our DD is Mia Grace and we are thinking about baby #2 soon. DH is Michael Jr. I love the name and we def wanted a Michael the 3rd to carry on the tradition. I had NO IDEA Mia is the feminine form of Michael. We decided on her name at the last minute because we fell in love with it and didn't do much research on it. Since we knew we were having a girl we were not even thinking about boys names or future boys until now!! All I saw was that it was a form of "Maria". So be truthful is naming our son Michael out of the question? Will our kids hate us if we do that? Is it cute or way to matchy matchy? I am thinking we just can't do it and I am so upset. Thanks - Tara

I think Mia is a lovely name and goes perfectly with Michael. And who really knows that Mia is the female form of Michael? Not many people, I suppose. If you always wanted a little Michael that's what you should name your son.
Good luck

AJ, enjoying life with C.
Mia and Michael work fine for me....
especially if there is a girl inbetween them named something else....
like Mia, Tanzie and Michael...it breaks up the "matchy" sound....
