MAXINE???
So far, only one 'maxie pad' reference has been made. Do you think that would be common?
Please be honest, all comments welcomed!
Emma Maxine, Olivia Maxine, other combos welcomed. Thanks!!

I would not use the name Maxine as a fn - but it is fine as mn since there is much less teasing for a mn. If you did a double name, like Emma-Maxine, then I would issues with the name.
My favorite combo for you is still: Olivia Grace, called Libby Grace.
Are you thinking of Maxine as a mn?? I love it as a mn, it flows well and has spunk to it. I didn't think of Maxie pads at all. I wouldn't do Emma Maxine, too "m" heavy, but Olivia Maxine is nice. I also love it as a first name.

A woman I worked with has two-year-old twins, Jack and Maxine, and honestly the association has never occurred to me. I guess I just don't think of them as "maxi pads" (just "pads"). And if it's a big deal, why don't little boys named Max get teased about it?

one of my niece's mn is Maxine. i've known 2 adult Maxine's (babyboomer gen, depression gen)
for a first name, would think would blend in with the other classic names...and of course, Max for boys is common again with Maxwell, Maddox, ...

AJ, enjoying life with C.
I would use it as a mn but probably not a fn.
