Sally
Anna
Annie
Jo
Josie
Hanna
Jan
Jana/Janna
Joan
Introducing baby #4.......
Sanna (actually a name, you find it in the Netherlands, Germany, etc., short form of Susanna)
Sada
Sosie
Saja (sounds like Sasha doesn't it)
Sonna, Sonya/Sonia
Saranna
Sari (like the Indian silk dress, SAH-ree)
I didn't weigh into the Apple question but it's so close to the Gwyneth Paltrow thing that it would look like copycat naming so it's better used as a mn where you won't be portraying yourself as a totally fluffhead trendy that copies Hollywood like a hopeless dreamer, kwim?
I would also question naming her Sarah if you didn't want to CALL her Sarah. I liked the suggestion of Sadie....but actually using that as the name.
Sadie Johanna Apple
Good Luck!
Crystal
why would you want to name her Sarah Johanna if you don't want to call her either Sarah or Johanna?????
I've given my opinion on this on here before - HONORING FAMILY MEMBERS CANNOT TAKE PRECEDENCE OVER YOU LIKING THE NAME(S) THAT YOU PICK FOR YOUR CHILD
In my experience I find far lower percentages of people in the actual population who name their children after family members than I find on this board. Why this board is unique in that area is anyone's guess. You will not hurt people's feelings if you do not try to name one child after 3 or 4 people.
Find a name you REALLY like for the first name. Choose ONE relative whose name you think sounds best with that first name and use for a middle name if you really want to honor family.
the relatives will love the baby for who she is, not for her name
good luck
PS I can see you're taking quite a bashing for using nicknames
