My baby sister, Tasha Lee, passed away almost 5 years ago. My dh and I have agreed that if we have a girl we would like to name her Brooklyn Natasha, after my sister. However, we can not find a name that we like for a boy to honor my sister. I had mention Sasha but my husband is not at all thrilled with that. He has two other children Chelsea Marie and Jordan Michael, I also have two children Brandon Donald and Gavin Ellis (Donald Ellis was my grandfather who raised me and passed away when I was 14) My step-sister has already used Lee (my sister's mn) for her daughter Isabella Lee. Any suggestions on a boys name?????

What about Leander (lee-ander), Leith, Leland, Levi or Leif?

Or you could go with some that end in 'ley' and nickname him Lee, just a suggestion.

How about Asher (a bit of a stretch, but sounds similar), Leo or Nathaniel (Nat or Nate for short). Or you could even go with Nathaniel Leo together which would be very close to your sister's name.

I would also use the middle name Lee if it was a boy. I don't think it should be a problem for cousins to have the same middle name.

This is what I was going to suggest. My DD's middle name is Michelle. She has a 2 cousins (one on my side of the family and one on DH's side) with the same middle name. It's never been a problem.

My first suggestions would be Nathan Lee (Nat), or Tanner Lee,
that is if you don't think your your step-sister is too possessive of the name Lee (especially since it is a MN.)
You could also use Leander, Leland, or Leo in place of Lee.
Another suggestion would be Tate.
Best wishes.

I love the name Asher however my sister named her daughter Ashlynn. Do you think that would be too close and confusing? I would love to use it if it's not. Seems like others on here are suggesting that I still use Lee for mn too....Asher Lee?????? I love it!
