Which do you like better? Why?

Sara(h) Elizabeth

Lucy Elizabeth

I sure hope this u/s wasn't wrong...we're having a hard enough time picking out this name...we couldn't even come up with a single boy name!

I love both names (and I DEFINETLY prefer Sarah with an "h" at the end). They are both pretty, classic names. I think I prefer Lucy as it flows better with Elizabeth and is a little less common. Very sweet and spunky.

This is a great web site to find that perfect name so I'm sure you won't have a problem. Everyone is willing to give good advice. As far as you girl names I like Lucy the best but not necessarily with Elizabeth. Sara is so popular and used so much that I have gotten tired of it but it's a good name if you really like it. Good luck to you.

hmmm...I'm gonna have to say it's a tie for me. Sorry I'm not any help. I think Lucy is a little bit "cuter" though, for whatever that means.

Both are very nice but I have to say I prefer Sarah Elizabeth. Yes, sarah is more common but it is also more classic in my mind. Lucy, while a very cute, spunky name (and it is a very real name...not one of those awful made-up things!) is a little thin to my ears...a little tinny or something. I can see how it might be an annoying thing to hear all your life/it might not "wear" as well. Sarah is softer, quieter, more refined. Yes, there are more Sarahs, but in this case I still think I would choose it over Lucy.

Sarah because it's more traditional & will stand the "test of time" w/out being a trendy name.

I really like both names, though I think Sarah ages better than Lucy. Lucy just seems almost too cute and spunky

I like both spellings equally, Sarah and Sara. Sara is of Greek origin I believe, while Sarah is of Hebrew origin. I rarely have no opinion on spelling issues, but in this case, I really like them equally.

I voted for Sarah Elizabeth. Add the H at the end, it's very pretty!
Goodluck!

Tough choice, but I went with Sarah. I much prefer the H at the end, and Sarah just edged out Lucy for me. My only concern with Lucy is that it won't suit an adult as well as Sarah will. I have a friend named Lucy who goes by her mn b/c she feels that it fits her better (and it does). Of course, with the mn Elizabeth, that's a nice safe, fallback option if your DD chooses to use it instead.

Maybe take both to the hospital and see which suits her better? You really can't go wrong either way.

I would pick Lucy in a heartbeat over Sara(h). It is less popular and has a lot more spunk to it. I have a cousin who is in her early 30's named Lucy and it still suits her fine. I think it ages very well.
