27w appointment :-)

I know, some say 27w is the start of the 3T so this will probably be my last post in the 2T. Wow, I can hardly believe I can type that!

It was overall good. MFM says I'm measuring well and baby is moving well. The hb was in the 130s. My bp was 100/72. I have gained a total of 10 pounds now from my pre-pg weight, at a rate of a pound a week.

We talked about labor/birth pain management options. He told me that he is fine with pretty much whatever I want, within reason. I'm so glad he is open and supportive.

I told him about my hip pain a week or so ago that brought me to my knees in the shower. He frowned. Uh-oh. Then said he thinks it is more ligament pain and that it is telling him I need to slow down and start to take things easy. He did not say I needed to work less or be on bedrest or anything like that, so that is good I guess. Just pretty much relax when I can and not take on too many things. I had that pain during the time I was tring to get a lot of projects done at home. So maybe I was doing too much at once? DH has taken over cooking and dishes now. I love that man! Also I should be finding out soon if/when I will go back to working 4 days a week. I was working 5 days to cover a leave. I think that should help some.

Sounds like a great appointment, Lydia! What a great man you have at home too- how wonderful that he's cooking and cleaning for you. That's priceless when you are pregnant!

Thanks, Kristy. I am very lucky to have such a wonderful DH. I did order a pregnancy support belt and it arrived last night. I hope it helps.
